A team can also evaluate an environment workflow such as renv for package reproducibility; RStudio does not guarantee reproducibility by itself.

Before using customer, health, financial, or research data, clarify storage, access, backups, temporary files, package sources, and export paths. Local desktop use is not the same as a centrally operated server: authentication, auditing, isolation, and retention need separate controls for each environment.
